Last week, 14 volunteers part of Folks on Spokes generously each gave 3 hours of their time to help clear debris from the Lincoln Trail.
The cleared debris resulted from hurricane Arthur which hit the region last July. The damaging hurricane is said to have claimed over 10,000 trees in the Fredericton area alone. Additionally, the group (which is formed by seniors) will continue their kind work again on Thursday, October 9th from 10am-1pm.
The New Brunswick Trails Council applauds Folks on Spokes for their selfless work and for contributing in making active living opportunities accessible in their community.
