Saturday a group of volunteers completed a pedestrian/cycling bridge on the new South Bathurst Trail.

This bridge was once used by CNR on their railroad spur to the Bathurst Mill. The bridge will be part of the 3.2 km trail which will link up the city’s Coronation Park and Riverside drive.

The volunteers were swift to complete the bridge before roughly 22 centimetres fell in Bathurst on Sunday.
